Blue Coast Painting is proud to participate in Free Trade Day which takes place each year in multiple locations around Australia.

We believe the first step to making the world a better place is to help others. As part of Free Trade Day, we get to involve ourselves, along with other local businesses, in a project which is going to enhance, or perhaps totally change a person’s life. Our whole team, using our resources and expertise can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Blue Coast Painting has been involved with Free Trade Day for 3 years already and our latest project was for Michale Dowd, who is battling cancer, a battle which has been going on and off for over 10 years.

What is Free Trade Day?

“As tradespeople, we see some terrible situations. Families that are struggling financially. Elderly people who are unable to afford basic essential maintenance and repairs, jeopardising their safety and well being in their own homes. Single parents having their children do their homework on the kitchen bench because none of the bedroom lights work anymore.

Once a year on August 29th, Free Trade Day brings together Tradespeople from across Australia to help these very people by offering a day of free Trade Services.

We provide FREE material and FREE labour to;

1. People who are living in dangerous situation, who’s safety is compromised
2. People without essential services
3. People who cannot afford the cost of tradespeople”
